A leading engineering company based in England is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer. The role involves producing 2D and 3D drawings, calculating tolerances, and liaising with customers for requirements. Candidates should have experience with design software like AutoCAD and SolidWorks, along with a strong attention to detail. Qualifications
At least 18 months experience in 2D & 3D design.
Strong understanding of geometrical tolerances.
Responsabilités
Produce 2D & 3D drawings to meet product specifications.
Calculate geometric tolerances.
Liaise with customers to identify requirements.
Responsible for material selection and costing.
Design for CNC manufacture.
Correct design flaws and communicate with manufacturing.
Design a variety of machinery and systems.
Opportunity to supervise machine installations, including overseas.
Connaissances
2D & 3D design software expertise (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Vault, Inventor)
Attention to detail
Understanding of geometrical tolerances
Experience in designing High Value Capital Equipment
