This role is crucial for supporting Business Intelligence efforts and mentoring junior engineers. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid capacity between Telford and remote settings. Qualifications
- Strong expertise in ETL tools like Pentaho and Talend.
- Experience with data virtualization using Denodo and SAS for analytics.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git, and Docker.

SAS Data Engineer (SAS 9.4, SAS Viya, Pentaho, Talend, Denodo) - MUST BE SC CLEARED - Telford and remote - 5 months+, SAS 9.4 (DI), SAS Viya 3.x (SAS Studio, VA, VI).
Platform LSF, Jira, Platform Support.
GIT.
- Strong expertise in ETL tools: Pentaho, Talend.
- Experience with data virtualization using Denodo.
- Proficiency in SAS for data analytics and reporting.
- Oracle (good to have).
- Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks.
- Hands‑on experience with DevOps tools and practices (eg, Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong SQL and data modelling skills.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Proven track record of data projects and teams.
- Certifications in Agile/Scrum, DevOps, or relevant data technologies are a plus.
