Senior Estimator - Industrial New Build Projects

London (Hybrid | 1 Day/Week Office-Based)

Permanent | £75,000 - £90,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits

Are you a forward-thinking Estimator ready to shape the pricing strategy for major industrial builds?

An established principal contractor with a strong track record in delivering complex industrial and logistics schemes is looking for a Senior Estimator to join their pre-construction team. Operating predominantly within the industrial shed and distribution space (projects ranging from £15m to £80m), this is your chance to lead bids on high-profile new builds while enjoying the flexibility of a largely remote setup.

• Lead the preparation of first-principle cost estimates for industrial/logistics new builds
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and subcontractor quotes with an eye for both detail and value
• Develop and present tender proposals that strike the right balance between commercial competitiveness and delivery assurance
• Collaborate closely with pre-construction, planning, commercial, and delivery teams to ensure alignment
• Engage with clients, supply chain, and internal stakeholders to fine-tune tender submissions

• 5+ years' experience in estimating (preferably with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor)
• Strong exposure to industrial sheds, warehousing, or large-scale commercial builds
• Confident working independently while mentoring junior members where needed
• Competent in estimating software and Excel-based take-offs
• Able to attend the London office one day per week (flexible which day)
