Job summary
A construction recruitment agency is searching for a skilled Estimator to prepare meticulous project estimates, manage projects from inception to completion, and ensure effective communication with trade partners. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the painting and decorating industry, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency in relevant construction software. Qualifications
- Proven experience working as an Estimator or in a similar position within the painting and decorating industry.
- General construction experience is a plus.
- Tech-savvy and familiar with inspector guidelines and safety precautions.
Responsibilities
- Prepares clear and concise estimates including all necessary information.
- Generates preliminary construction schedule.
- Establishes and maintains subcontractor and vendor relationships.
- Communicates with team and trade partners on new projects.
- Analyzes data and produces forecasts.
- Reviews progress and prepares periodic reports for management.
- Performs risk analysis.

- Tech-savvy and proficient in MS Office and popular construction software like Timberline
- Familiar with inspector guidelines and safety precautions
