A prominent healthcare provider in Liverpool is looking for a Band 5 Staff Nurse in Renal Dialysis to provide exceptional care to dialysis-dependent patients. An exciting opportunity for a band 5 nurse to join a dynamic, motivated team of renal nurses who deliver a high standard of specialist outpatient care.
You will be working in a friendly and supportive environment providing comprehensive care and support to dialysis dependent patients. We currently have 24 stations running 07:00 - midnight Monday - Saturdays providing approximately 396 dialysis treatments a week. We also have haemodialysis units at Warrington, St Helens and Halton hospital and there may be occasions when you will be asked to support at one of these clinics.
Student nurses in the UK awaiting NMC PIN will be considered.
All other applicants must have a current NMC PIN number included in the application.

The post holder will be responsible and accountable for the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of nursing care. Work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team and undertake delegated tasks from the ward sister/charge nurse. Following successful completion of foundation gateway will be required to take charge of ward/department for a span of duty.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
