Architectural Assistant-Jobs in Großbritannien

A small and expanding practice based on the Hertfordshire/Essex border is working on residential projects ranging from extensions to new-build dwellings, conversions, and larger housing developments. They are seeking an ambitious Senior Architect/Architectural Technologist to join them and hopefully take a senior role within the business. Candidates will need the following skills and experience:

• At least 10 years’ experience
• Ideally be ARB registered but not essential
• Good understanding of design constraints within various areas / boroughs
• Strong client-facing skills
• Good knowledge of construction and ability to draw technical drawings and detailed building regulation drawings when necessary
• Strong knowledge of Contract Administration and comfort in dealing with projects on site, including site visits, checking quotations, and dealing with builders and sub-contractors
• Good presentation skills to clients, planners, and other consultants
• Understanding of how the business works financially and ability to meet deadlines
• Must be able to use AUTOCAD, Excel, Word, SketchUp, and Photoshop
