A pigment manufacturing company in Oldbury, Birmingham, is seeking a Laboratory Technician for a permanent role. This position involves quality control, testing, and product development within a robust manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong laboratory skills, experience in similar roles, and the ability to work autonomously while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Attractive salary of £28,000 per annum for the right individual, working 40 hours a week.

Our client, a highly successful pigment colouring manufacturer, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their Oldbury manufacturing site. This is a permanent, site-based role reporting directly to the Production Manager. You will take full responsibility for all quality control, testing, regulatory, and product development activities relating to the site. The role is largely autonomous and suits a self-motivated individual comfortable working independently within a manufacturing environment.
This role would suit someone currently working as a Lab Technician or Lab Assistant who is looking for greater autonomy and responsibility within a stable and successful manufacturing business based in Oldbury, Birmingham.
