A prestigious main dealership in Coventry is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles, requiring high proficiency in automotive systems and diagnostic tools. Candidates should have NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Vehicle Repair or equivalent and at least a year of hands-on experience. Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30 - 5; alternate Saturdays 8.30 - 1pm (paid overtime)

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles. This position requires strong understanding of automotive systems and the ability to use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex problems. - Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues
- Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used
- Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques
- NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Vehicle Repair equivalent or higher
- At least 1 year of experience as a vehicle technician
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and software
- MOT licence a bonus
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s licence
