Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts in accordance with accepted accounting principles.
• Supervise daily accounting operations including vouchers, journals, ledgers, and trial balance.
• Ensure proper maintenance of general ledger and subsidiary ledgers.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor accounts payable & receivable and ensure timely settlement and collection.
• Monitor cost control, budget variance, and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with tax and VAT laws.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Analyze costing, expense control, and profitability.
• Monitor inventory valuation and coordinate with related departments.
• Review and approve entries prepared by junior staff.
• Support management with financial analysis and reports.
• Ensure timely monthly and year-end closing of accounts.
• Lead and develop junior accounting staff.
• Support ERP implementation and system improvements.
• Handle factory/branch accounts and reconciliations.
• Monitor sales collections and overdue accounts.
