A leading infrastructure solutions provider in the UK seeks a Finance role focused on managing financial transactions and reporting. The successful candidate will prepare monthly financial reports, manage accounting systems, and support the application process. Ideal for someone with a degree and financial experience, offering hybrid arrangements with three days on-site. Key skills needed include Excel, financial systems proficiency, and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams.
This is a commercially focused finance role which will report directly to the Senior Finance Manager for Costain. The role will play a leading role in the management and processing of financial transactions on the contract, ensuring accurate record keeping and reporting. The successful candidate will have a can-do flexible approach, the aptitude to meet deadlines, and the ability to use various systems to support the wider business. The role also supports the monthly Application process and the wider teams on the contract. Assisting the Senior Finance Manager to work with key staff and teams across the contract to successfully manage the financial performance of the contract.
Assisting the Senior Finance Manager to deliver all the requirements involved in the month end reporting requirements and processes.
Responsible for the preparation of sales invoices, ensuring the accurate entry of invoices and corresponding cash entries in Costain's financial systems and taking a key role in the timely collection of cash.
Assist with the recording and recharging of staff costs, including IT, company vehicles, company mobile phones, HO professional service staff, training charges, etc.
At all times proactively engage with and adhere to company procedures with regards to all aspects of QHSE.
