My client is seeking a Romanian-speaking Client Accountant to join their highly successful and growing team based in Harrow. - Managing client queries around tax and accounts.
- Preparing accounts up to trial balance stage for review by the finalisation team.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Liaising with HMRC regarding reconciliations and payment issues.
- Chasing and checking client data for completeness.
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
- Preparing client self-assessments.
- Preparing and submitting corporate tax returns.
- Assisting with payroll and CIS.
- Supporting with accounts finalisation.
- Conducting client tax review meetings.
- Identifying opportunities to introduce clients to value-added services such as mortgages, R&D claims, and management accounts.
- Minimum 2 years' experience working in accounts.
- Fluency in both Romanian and English.
- Strong knowledge of current tax legislation and accounting practices.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable.
- Full-time, permanent position.
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm.
- Based in Harrow, 5 days office-based.
- Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience).
