Overview

Youth Worker (Behaviour Mentor) - Secondary School - Lewisham - ASAP Start - 110 - 115 per day (depending on experience)

Youth Worker required for a mainstream secondary school in the borough of Lewisham.

Youth Worker required to work with students to provide behavioural and pastoral support.

Youth Worker must have strong behaviour management skills and ideally hold Team Teach/ Physical Intervention training.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1, in-class and out-of-class support to students as part of the school’s behavioural team.
  • Support students who display challenging behaviour and build a good rapport with them and other staff.
  • Collaborate with the Behaviour Support Team to support a diverse student cohort.
  • Utilise de-escalation and behavioural management strategies to support students in various settings.
