Overview

This is an opportunity to join a small team providing the highest standard of personal care and support for a young lady in her own home in York. The role will include accompanying on trips out, personal care, preparing meals and light domestic work.

Responsibilities
  • Accompany the client on trips out.
  • Provide personal care as required.
  • Prepare meals and assist with light domestic duties.
Requirements
  • Must have a driving license and be able to drive the client’s car.
  • Must be an experienced carer or health worker.
  • Must have relevant experience and qualifications.
  • Must have experience in moving and handling patients.
  • Be kind, reliable and caring.
Additional details
  • Flexible hours. Minimum 2 hours to maximum 30 hours a week.
  • Pay: £12.66 per waking hour and £12.21 per sleeping hour.
  • 5.6 weeks' paid holidays per year (pro rata).
  • The post is subject to a satisfactory DBS check, the cost of which will be met by the employer.
  • There may be opportunities for training relevant to your role.
  • Successful applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
