Job description

Year 4 Teacher

Location: Blyth area

Start date: January

Milk Education is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in the Blyth area that is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher to join their team from January.

This role is well suited to an Early Career Teacher who is keen to develop their practice within a supportive school environment where staff are encouraged and pupils are supported to reach their full potential.

The Role

This is a full-time teaching position, working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum for a Year 4 class, while supporting both academic progress and personal development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the primary curriculum
  • Supporting pupils' learning and wellbeing through creative and inclusive teaching
  • Creating a safe, positive, and nurturing classroom environment
  • Monitoring progress and providing meaningful feedback
  • Managing behaviour calmly and effectively
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and parents
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE with QTS
