Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school in Burnt Oak who are looking for a year 1 class teacher from January 2023. This is the perfect opportunity to join a school will brilliant leadership and excellent facilities. This is a full time role until the end of the academic year with a possibility to go permanent after that.

We promote independent and resilience in our pupils as we believe this is a life skill they will need. Our aim is for our pupils to become life long learners with a passion to find the answer to something they are unsure of. We never place a glass ceiling on what our pupils can achieve and firmly believe that we offer our children experiences and learning daily that they would not have had were they not to attend school that day.

This role would suit an experienced teacher, however strong ECTs with experience or placements in year 1 will be considered. This is a 2 form entry school 5 minutes from Burnt Oak underground station.

Qualifications

• A Qualified Teacher Status (either a PGCE, B.Ed, BA or Cert Ed.)
• A minimum of one year experience in KS1
• Dedication and passion about primary education
• A creative and dynamic approach to teaching and learning
• An honest, understanding and compassionate attitude towards children
• Excellent teaching references
