Qualifications

  • Basic engineering experience such as cabinet/kitchen building or window industry.
  • Previous experience with hand/power tools in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read from engineering drawings.
  • Must be a team player with strong communication skills.

Overview

Workshop Operative – North Norwich

Contract Personnel are looking for experienced Workshop Operatives to join a growing manufacturing business based north of Norwich City Centre.

Responsibilities
  • Constructing, assembling and finishing precision-engineered products using both hand and power tools
  • Working on complex builds requiring engineering knowledge and technical aptitude
  • Fabricating sub-assemblies for sophisticated product ranges
  • Collaborating with CAD designers and workshop management on innovative solutions
  • Maintaining exceptional quality standards throughout the production process
Requirements
  • Basic engineering experience, e.g. cabinet/kitchen building or window industry experience
  • Previous experience with hand/power tools in manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read from engineering drawings
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
Schedule

Monday to Friday 07:00 - 18:00

15 min break @ 10:30am, 30 min break @ 1pm, 15 mins break @ 3pm

Salary

£12.26ph starting, progressing to £12.88ph
