A leading financial services company is looking for a dedicated workshop chargehand to maintain and repair vehicles at their Wellingborough depot. The successful candidate will have experience in municipal vehicle maintenance, hold a valid HGV Class 2 driving license, and possess strong diagnostic skills. Responsibilities include conducting vehicle inspections, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining service records. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing the vehicles operated by our local authority client from their Wellingborough depot. This includes carrying out all work to a high standard within this workshop facility, ensuring adherence to vehicle maintenance and compliance regulations, and that all paperwork is completed timely, accurately and to a high standard. The workshop chargehand will also be responsible for liaising with the onsite customers to ensure vehicles are maintained, and defects repaired efficiently.
Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm with 1 hour for lunch, 45 hour week
