Do you love the complete process of designing a structure modelling the design in a CAD package and then liaising with manufacturers to ensure it can be made to the right time and cost? Are you looking for variety and challenges where every project is different and moves quickly from a clean sheet of paper to a physical prototype? If so you are just the person we need to design our sophisticated wind tunnel models.

How you will contribute to the team

Design wind tunnel models in Catia V5 and ensure they can be easily manufactured and assembled liaising closely with suppliers to ensure they can deliver.

Take pride in other designers both in our internal team and in the supply chain delivering designs under your leadership.

Enjoy working in a multi-disciplinary international team to share ideas and come up with novel solutions.

Love developing your own technical know-how and relish new bigger challenges or problems to solve.

Keen to develop structural analysis of wind tunnel models in the Catia Electric package.

About you

Mechanical engineering experience.

Good hands on design skills ideally in Catia V5.

Knowledge of design for manufacture of metallic structures
