A healthcare organization in Cornwall is seeking a specialist Occupational Therapist to provide wheelchair assessments and postural management advice to clients of all ages. The ideal candidate will enhance their skills in a community setting and work closely with a team of therapists. This role involves traveling to clients' homes, contributing to clinical governance, and participating in service development within the Wheelchair Service.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a Specialist Team of Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists providing wheelchair assessment and prescription, and postural management advice to children, young people and adults in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. This post will suit both Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist looking to enhance their skills in postural management in a community setting.
Due to the nature of the role, you must be able to travel independently on a daily basis to and from the base, patients’ homes and other venues around the geographical area, which may not be accessible by public transport.
