Job Opportunity: Welsh Teacher in Cardiff

September is approaching fast, and a secondary school in Cardiff is looking for a Welsh teacher to start the new academic year (2025/26). This is a great opportunity if you are seeking a change from your current role due to feeling unvalued or lacking support. It is also ideal for Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) looking for their first role. This is a one-year temporary placement with potential for a permanent contract if the role suits you. Due to high demand for Welsh teachers, the school is willing to bypass formal procedures to streamline the hiring process.

In this role, you will be expected to teach students the essentials of Welsh writing, reading, vocabulary, and pronunciation. The position begins on 1st September 2025.
