Equal Education Partners is seeking a confident and adaptable Welsh Speaking Cover Supervisor to join our team to work in schools in Aberystwyth and the surrounding area. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to gain classroom experience, support students, and contribute to a positive learning environment. We are seeking applications from candidates who have experience of working with children preferably in a school environment. This role would also be suitable for Graduates who are considering a teaching career and who would like to gain experience of working in the education sector.

Responsibilities:
  • ✅ Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans in the absence of the class teacher

  • ✅ Support students in their learning and encourage engagement
  • ✅ Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment

  • ✅ Adapt to different classroom settings and subjects as needed
Requirements:
  • ✅ Previous experience working with children or young people (education, coaching, mentoring, or similar)
  • ✅ Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • ✅ A proactive and flexible approach to working in different school environments
  • ✅ Ability to engage and motivate studentsl
    ✅ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)l✅ Right to work in the UKl✅ Registration with the EWC (or willingness to register)
