Overview

As a Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator at Avery Healthcare, your focus will be to provide a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate residents' physical, psychological, and social well-being. You will promote the philosophy of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights, and fulfilment for all residents. You will identify residents\' life histories and preferences, plan and submit monthly activity and wellbeing plans, arrange activities and events, and maintain a safe living and working environment.

Job responsibilities
  • Identify the life history, needs, and preferences of residents by listening to them and their families to support the development of a detailed life story.
  • Plan and submit to the Home Manager a monthly activity and wellbeing plan and a weekly overview.
  • Arrange activities, events, and outings, encouraging the involvement of staff, relatives, and visitors.
  • Maintain a safe living and working environment, contributing to the positive and professional image of the home.
