Overview

Welding Trainer / Assessor. Think FE are recruiting on behalf of an Ofsted-rated Good college in Middlesbrough. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Welding Trainer / Assessor to work with adult learners, helping them gain technical welding skills whilst embedding essential employability attributes, health & safety, and professional behaviours. You ll deliver flexible, roll on, roll off programmes, supporting students both in the college and by visiting apprentices in their workplace.

Responsibilities
  • Teach practical welding techniques, theory, and assessment to adult learners
  • Integrate employability skills, safe working practices, and professional behaviours into your delivery
  • Support learners to build confidence, work-readiness, and succeed in securing employment
  • Carry out regular workplace visits to apprentices, ensuring standards and progression are met
  • Monitor, assess, and record learner progress; provide constructive feedback

Candidate Requirements
