Job description

My clients, originally founded in 1969, supplied and installed flue systems for heating contractors in the Northwest. In 1982, due to increased demand from consultants, local authorities, and the heating trade, they moved to larger premises and expanded sales coverage across the UK.

Position: Semi-Skilled Sheet-Metal Fabricator

We are seeking a semi-skilled sheet-metal fabricator to assist in manufacturing stainless steel sections and components in our workshop. The role involves producing various sizes of flue cylinders by cutting, rolling, and TIG welding light gauge stainless steel. It will also include some MIG welding to produce light gauge steel supports and brackets.

Training will be provided, but applicants must have some fabricator/welding experience and the ability to carry 20kg.

Details:

• Hourly rate starting DOE
• Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm
• Friday: 7:00 am – 1:00 pm
• Note: No holidays to be taken in August/September due to peak workload.
