An established engineering firm in Oldham is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join their team. • MIG & TIG welding experience required.
• Proven experience in welding and fabrication.

• Cut, bend, and fabricate metal components.
• Operate overhead cranes for material handling.
• Ensure all work meets NDT/X-ray testing standards.

Overview

We have an opportunity for a Welder/Fabricator to join a long-standing engineering firm at their site in Oldham. This is a hands-on role that requires skill, precision, and a strong understanding of welding and fabrication techniques.

What’s on offer

• £16.00 - £19.00 per hour
• Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm
• Early finish on Fridays
• 24 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
• Overtime available (paid at 1.5x)

What will you be doing as a Welder Fabricator?

• TIG & MIG welding on mild and stainless steel
• Working with light to medium gauge steel (1mm - 20mm)
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Cutting, bending, and fabricating metal components
• Operating overhead cranes for material handling
• Ensuring all work meets NDT/X-ray testing standards

What do you need?

• MIG & TIG welding experience
• Proven experience in welding and fabrication
• Ability to read technical drawings
