Immediate Start for Weekend Hours for an experienced Care Assistant in Ripley, Derbyshire

Are you a compassionate and experienced Care Worker looking to make a real difference? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a warm and welcoming 28-bed residential care home in the heart of Ripley.

Responsibilities
  • Delivering high-quality personal care, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
  • Following and updating individualised care plans
  • Promoting residents’ emotional and psychological wellbeing
  • Encouraging independence and meaningful daily engagement
Qualifications
  • Referenceable work history
  • In-date mandatory training certificates (moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults and infection control)
  • Enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service
  • Minimum of 3 months paid UK work experience in a care setting

  • DBS and training support: If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, we can help with online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep
  • Note: We do not offer sponsorships
  • This is an ongoing position for weekend work
  • Typical hours: 06:45 to 14:30; 14:15 to 22:00; 22:00 to 07:00
  • Rate of pay: £12.35 or £12.85 per hour, depending on hours worked
