Our client is a formidable water treatment company who offer a wide range of outstanding services to a high profile portfolio of clients and contracts. They are currently recruiting for an experienced, knowledgeable and commercially‑focused Water Treatment Accounts/Sales Manager based in or around the North West region. The successful candidate will come from a strong water treatment/chemical background with a proven track record of managing a range of water treatment accounts including steam boiler and cooling towers. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate the ability to grow and expand the business through the selling of water treatment / legionella services.

Location: Applications from Bolton, St. Helens, Wigan, Macclesfield, Oldham and surrounding areas will be considered.

Key Qualifications
  • Strong chemical, sales, commercial and accounts background.
  • Previous experience working in a similar role within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.
  • Experience in business development/account management.
  • Excellent communication and management skills.
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office package.
Postholder Responsibilities
  • Sell the company’s water treatment/water hygiene services.
  • Manage new and existing accounts.
  • Resourcing new business leads and opportunities.
  • Preparation of new quotes and tenders.
  • Attend meetings when required.
  • Manage cooling tower, steam boiler, hot and cold water systems, etc.
  • Build and maintain a professional relationship with the company’s large portfolio of clients.
  • Achieve and maintain targets.

Overall the successful postholder will be a commercially‑motivated and professional manager, who will bring their wealth of industry knowledge and experience to an already established team.
