Experience & Qualifications:

• Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer / Remedial Plumber for a reputable provider of Water Hygiene / Legionella management services.
• Holding the City and Guilds / NVQ ( level 2 or higher) is essential to the role.
• Extensive experience carrying out L8 compliance duties in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Familiar updating onsite logbooks.
• Able to communicate efficiently.
• Excellent organisational skills.

The Role:

• Water sampling.
• Legionella monitoring.
• Carrying out CWST inspections, refurbishments, cleans & chlorination’s.
• TMV servicing and failsafe testing.
• Showerhead cleans and acid disinfections.
• Carrying out pre-planned remedial tasks.
• Flushing of little used outlets.
• Cleans and disinfections on hot and cold-water systems.
• Deadleg removals.
• Rerouting, replacing, and adjusting of PVC and copper pipe.
• Ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Updating onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
