Job Description

Our client is a multi‑disciplined organisation committed to supplying professional Asbestos, Fire Safety and Health & Safety services across the UK. They are currently looking for a high calibre Fire Risk Assessor/Health & Safety Consultant to work in and around the Bradford area.

  • Hands‑on experience carrying out fire risk assessments.
  • Full knowledge of relevant Health & Safety procedures and policies.
  • Experience conducting effective Health & Safety and compliance audits.
  • NEBOSH Health & Safety certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Preferred: NEBOSH Fire Certificate or NEBOSH Fire Conversion – Technician status with recognised bodies—IFSM/IFPO/IFE.
  • Proven experience in commercial, industrial and public sector properties.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent presentation, organisational and client‑facing skills.
  • Flexible travel requirements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake specialist surveys and assessments.
  • Carry out fire risk assessments and Health & Safety risk assessments across various industry sectors.
  • Develop and deliver fire plans, drills, warden training, extinguisher usage, real‑fire training, briefings and training courses.
  • Present and train staff and clients on fire safety.
  • Build and maintain a client base.
  • Tackle issues effectively and develop action plans.
  • Produce comprehensive and accurate reports.
  • Ensure Health & Safety of staff and clients.
  • Conduct Health & Safety, staff and compliance audits.
  • Assist senior management in delivering consultancy services.
  • Support and liaise with the Fire Safety Consultant on related projects.
