Our collaborative and multi‑disciplinary team is one of the largest in the UK, providing water and wastewater infrastructure services alongside drainage design, SUDS and surface water management. Our clients span across the UK and internationally, including water companies, local authorities, highways/rail authorities and developers.

We seek to recruit a Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller to join our Wastewater Team in Bristol. We are looking for entry‑level candidates with limited experience but good analytical skills and a desire to learn.

We are pioneers, constantly innovating and pushing boundaries to tackle the world's most pressing challenges, especially water. From enhancing rivers and urban landscapes to building sustainable cities, our Networks & Drainage Solutions (N&D S) team is at the forefront.

Your role

• Develop computer models to investigate flooding and environmental problems and generate outline solutions.
• Build, verify and analyze hydraulic sewer model outputs.
• Develop 1D and 2D models to investigate flood risk and mechanisms.
• Handle and analyze data.
• Use GIS software (MapInfo, ArcGIS) to support complex environmental problems.
• Develop reports and other project deliverables.
• Plan and supervise surveys.
• Support junior team members and proactively solve environmental problems for our clients.

About you

• Understanding of the UK water industry, environment and sustainability, and desire to apply these skills.
• Previous demonstrable experience in wastewater modelling using InfoWorks ICM.
• Proactive self‑starter with a desire to learn and develop technically, working towards a professional qualification.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
