Wastewater Treatment Specialist Manager

Responsibilities
  • Safely carry out all tasks set by the engineering management
  • Ensure PPMs, maintenance, breakdowns and all work is carried out in a timely safe manner
  • Make sure all relevant tests on the water system are completed accurately and on time
  • Make sure all PPMs relating to the odour abatement system are undertaken and documented
  • Oversee the daily and weekly effluent sampling and tests in accordance with ENV.810
  • You must make sure we remain in compliance with our environmental permit
  • Oversee/undertake any testing required for R and D purposes and report back results/findings
  • Monitor all tank levels, flow rates and trends and report concerns to the engineering management
  • Maintain good manufacturing practice, investigate and record hazards, risks and near misses
What you will need
  • Previous experience as a Wastewater Treatment Specialist Manager or good understanding of how an effluent plant operates
  • Level 3 H&S awareness
  • Sampling, testing and analysis of effluent plant
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
Pay, hours and benefits
  • Rate of pay – £Competitive
  • Thursday-Monday, 07:00am-16:00pm
