Overview

Warehouse Team Supervisor

Location: Medway

Salary: £32k-£36k DOE

Hours: Monday - Friday pattern: 3 weeks 06:00 - 14:30, 1 week 10:30 - 19:00

A unique opportunity has arisen to join our growing client as a Warehouse Team Supervisor. As their exclusive recruitment partner, we have been asked to find a dedicated individual to fill this rare opening in their business.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team through change: manage and motivate a team through business changes, ensuring a smooth transition and continued success.
  • Manage daily operations: take ownership of daily production levels and ensure a smooth handover with the shift changeover.
  • Oversee warehouse and inventory: ensure all deliveries are correctly stored promptly while adhering to stock management and rotation protocols.
  • Ensure compliance: oversee all Health & Safety in production and the warehouse, ensuring the team conforms to legislative standards and products meet health & safety standards.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: work closely with other supervisors and all areas of the business to ensure work is completed efficiently.
What You Will Need
  • Relevant experience: up-to-date, hands-on knowledge of warehouse operations and line-management responsibilities.
  • Positive approach to driving change: leading by example with exceptional communication skills; energetic, collaborative and positive.
  • A growth mindset: attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Line Manager Responsibilities: conducting 1-2-1s, conflict management, managing employees against competencies.
