WAREHOUSE TEAM LEADER

Location: Hook

Salary: £27,000-£29,000 PA + benefits

Hours: Full‑time, Monday to Friday (40 hrs/week) with flexibility for weekends & Bank Holidays during busy periods

Our client, a leading European shopper house dedicated to brand marketing, is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to assist with the day-to-day running of their Hook warehouse.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations
  • Lead, motivate, and coach a small team of warehouse operatives
  • Plan and coordinate the receipt, order assembly, and dispatch of goods
  • Ensure accurate stock management and maintain asset registers
  • Liaise with suppliers, transport companies, and courier services
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment
  • Operate company vehicles and forklift trucks as required
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in warehouse operations and team supervision
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Full UK Driving Licence and Counterbalance Forklift Licence (preferred)
  • Good understanding of stock management and Health & Safety regulations
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
