Overview

Location: Dagenham • Salary: £33,000 - £35,000 • Hours: Day Shift - 07:00 to 17:00 (Monday to Friday)

We're looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead the early shift at a busy and fast-paced depot. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be responsible for ensuring smooth operations across picking, goods-in, and vehicle dispatch - all while maintaining high standards in health & safety, stock control, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the warehouse team during the early shift, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently
• Oversee picking, loading/unloading, and goods-in processes
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Support implementation and training on ERP/WMS/TMS systems
• Monitor stock integrity and compliance with health & safety regulations
• Provide reports on productivity, KPIs, and team performance
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and staff development

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in a warehouse/depot supervisory role
• Comfortable working early shift hours (07:00 - 17:00)
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• Good IT proficiency, especially with Excel and warehouse systems
• Forklift licence and IOSH certification are desirable
• A proactive, hands-on approach with great attention to detail
