Job description
The Role

This is a key role, reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, with responsibility for:

  • All Warehouse activities - goods in, goods out, restocking shelving, packing, unpacking, and maintaining good housekeeping standards
  • Delivery of the highest customer service standards - responsible for fulfilling customer orders ready for same-day despatch or collection

Working as part of the Supply Chain Team in collaboration with all areas of the business, particularly the Sales and Customer Service Teams.

  • Carrying out all warehouse activities, including goods in, goods out, restocking shelving, packing, and unpacking, and maintaining good housekeeping standards
  • Implement stock rotation practices to ensure stock freshness
  • Conducting regular stock checks to maintain Stock accuracy, reconciling and correcting discrepancies promptly
  • Reordering packaging and consumables as needed, utilising packaging efficiently to minimise waste and reduce environmental impact
  • Coordinating and communicating with transportation providers to organise and schedule shipments, highlighting any delays or issues within the transport network to internal stakeholders
  • Striving for continuous improvement in warehouse processes, identifying areas for optimisation and cost-effectiveness.
  • Staying up to date with Health and Safety regulations, ensuring the compliance of all warehouse activities
  • Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedure, and competency in warehouse operations
  • Utilising Company systems, including barcode scanning devices and Microsoft systems to track Stock movements, generate reports, and maintain records accurately
