A leading energy management and automation company is seeking a Warehouse Process Specialist Apprentice in Telford. This apprenticeship offers comprehensive training, both on-the-job and off-the-job, aimed at developing skills in warehouse operations and lean methodologies. Responsibilities include supporting project implementations, assisting with data tasks, and shadowing experienced team members. To support the Methods team during project implementations, build knowledge around warehouse architecture design and lean methodology. Identify areas for improvement related to labour efficiency. Support warehouse operations by resolving issues with the warehouse management system.
Training Provider: Claudius Consulting
During your apprenticeship, you will receive two different types of training.
This training is delivered by Schneider Electric, your employer. You’ll receive training and supervision to help you perform the job you’ve been hired to do, including skills and knowledge that fall outside the apprenticeship but are required for the role. Additional support includes mentorship, social enrichment, performance reviews, mental health and wellbeing support, and feedback opportunities.
You will spend at least 20% of your working hours (average 6 hours per week) completing off‑the‑job training. This protected time is a requirement for apprenticeship delivery and will teach you the knowledge, skills, and behaviours set out in the apprenticeship standard so you can achieve occupational competence.
37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday). Exact start and finish times will be agreed upon with the line manager. Some hours will be allocated to off‑the‑job training as part of your apprenticeship programme.
Have a minimum of 5 GCSEs (or Level 2 equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above including Mathematics, English and a science, technology or engineering related subject.
No pre‑requisite experience required.
