A leading food and drink wholesaler in the UK is looking for warehouse operatives to join their team on a permanent contract. You will work in a rotating shift pattern with 40 hours per week and receive comprehensive in-house training. Responsibilities include picking goods, operating equipment safely, and maintaining standards. The role requires numeracy, literacy, and flexibility, with opportunities for overtime. Generous shift premiums and a supportive work environment are provided.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for rotating shifts warehouse operatives to join Booker on a permanent contract with 16 week probationary period.
Successful applicants will be required to work 40 hours per week, with overtime opportunities in line with the Working Time Directive.
You will receive in‑house training and support to equip you with the skills necessary to conduct your role.
You will receive the current hourly basic rate of pay, plus shift premium, which is calculated on the basic hours that are worked between the following bands:
Hours worked between 06:00 and 17:59 are classed as day shift and attract no premium.
Shift premium is not paid on any overtime hours.
Our colleagues also participate in the site incentive scheme which is related to an individual's performance.
Prior to employment, you must successfully complete a drug and alcohol test.
