Job summary

A recruitment agency in Rotherham seeks a diligent individual for warehouse operations focusing on picking and packing. Candidates should have at least 6 months of relevant experience and a strong attention to detail. Pay is £12.21 per hour with working hours from 08:45 am to 17:15 pm, Monday to Friday. This is a temp to perm position.

Responsibilities

• Reading pick orders, locating and collecting items from throughout the warehouse.
• Checking, packing and completing pick orders for shipping.
• Sorting and placing of items to pick and storage locations throughout warehouse.
• Handling and inspecting returned items for obvious damage/flaws/irregularities.
• Stock counting and location checks.
• Updating and maintaining stock quantity and location records on the warehouse management system.
• Any ad-hoc task the company manager/supervisor may assign.

Qualifications

• Have at least 6 months experience in picking and packing.
• Able to work effectively as a part of a team demonstrating a hands-on, energetic style with a ‘can do, will do’ attitude.
• Able to produce consistently accurate work with a high level of attention to detail even when working under pressure. A “right first time” mentality.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift heavy objects
