Warehouse Operative

Plymouth | £13.51 per hour | Shift work: 2 weeks 6am - 2pm followed by 2 weeks 2pm - 10pm | 37.5 hours per week | Temporary to permanent

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of a modern and busy manufacturing company in Plymouth, who is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative with a forklift licence to join their team on a temporary basis.

This is a physically demanding role, so candidates must be physically fit and comfortable with lifting.

Key Duties

• Unloading delivery vehicles and checking incoming stock against shipping documents.
• Identifying discrepancies or damages and signing for deliveries accordingly.
• Accurately picking and packing orders according to special instructions.
• Preparing shipments for dispatch and loading/unloading outbound vehicles.
• Managing order requirements in a timely and organised manner.
• Inputting order details correctly on delivery service provider portals.
• Ensuring stock accuracy through careful handling and documentation.

Requirements

• A forklift licence.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar manual handling environment.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items throughout the day.
