Overview

Are you looking to make a difference while working in a dynamic and fulfilling role? Are you passionate about customer-service and sustainability?

This is a part-time role working 15 hours per week. This role requires Thursday, Saturday & Sunday working.

You will work with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure the shop floor is always well stocked, working in accordance with all safety regulations, promoting safety and wellbeing. You will be given lots of autonomy and will strive to continually build your knowledge of the BHF. This position is for 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Handle and move deliveries of furniture and appliances coming into the store from the vans.
  • Ensure that all products meet the company’s quality standards.
  • Work with the store team and volunteers to ensure the efficient running of the store and the warehouse.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and comply with safety regulations.
  • Keep the shop floor well stocked and support ongoing operations.
About you

You may have experience of working in the retail or service sector and will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be motivated by the knowledge your hard work will make a life-saving difference, proactive, driven and customer focused. You will have the ability to work collaboratively with others and be comfortable guiding the activity of volunteer team members. This can be a physically demanding role and you need to be comfortable working with furniture and electrical goods.
