A leading healthcare provider in the UK is looking for a ward clerk to support operations in their Assessment unit. Both full-time and part-time roles are available, requiring excellent communications, organizational skills, and IT proficiency. Responsibilities include maintaining patient records and ensuring confidentiality, while working in a fast-paced environment on a flexible rota including weekends. This is a fixed-term position offering competitive pay and opportunities for personal development.
Clifford ward is recruiting a full time 36 hours per week and part time a ward clerk 24 hours per week to work in their busy fast paced Assessment unit. Hours will be between 07.00-19.00 across Monday to Sunday on a rota basis including Bank Holidays and Weekend working. You will need to be a team player, but have the confidence to work on your own initiative, have a flexible approach to tasks in a busy changing environment, demonstrate competence in using IT systems, have excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as you will be the front line for the patient and relatives.

We have also entered a Group Model with neighbouring Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust and become University Hospitals of Northamptonshire (UHN). As part of this collaborative approach, there may be a requirement for you to work across both the Kettering and Northampton hospital sites, depending on the needs of the service.
