We have built Europe's best-connected broadcast centre at Stockley Park London distributing 35,000 hours of content globally and creating some of the worlds best sporting coverage. Our facilities include four broadcast studios, fifty edit suites and a multitude of radio, podcast, dubbing and VFX facilities with specialisms in remote production and carbon reduction thanks to our Green to Screen initiative. Whether it's live coverage, archive highlights, social media branded content or feature films we give the audience a front row seat to the best sport in the world.
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced VP Business and Technical Transformation to play a pivotal leadership role bearing end‑to‑end accountability for the successful delivery of IMG's transformation project. Operating at the intersection of project execution and enterprise strategy the VP ensures that defined objectives, scope and quality standards are achieved while maintaining consistent alignment with IMG's overarching strategic priorities.
This is an exciting and senior role working directly with Barney Francis, Executive Vice President of IMG Studios. In addition this role will be instrumental in setting and delivering strategy for a department with substantial turnover and a staff base of over 500.
IMG has production bases in the UK, USA and KSA with capabilities to produce content globally. The department enjoys strong relationships with all major networks in the UK and many global partners including streamers and most major Tier One federations.
IMG is the market leader for sports production in the UK and one of the biggest and most prestigious production partners globally.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- End‑to‑End Project Accountability: ultimate responsibility for the delivery of this important change management project.
- Strategic Alignment: ensuring that all project activities and deliverables are tightly aligned with IMG's strategic objectives, values and long‑term vision.
- Objective and Scope Management: define and agree clear project objectives, scope and success criteria in consultation with key stakeholders; manage changes through formal processes to prevent scope creep.
- Quality Assurance: establish and enforce quality standards across all project phases ensuring deliverables meet or exceed expectations and comply with IMG's governance frameworks.
- Stakeholder Engagement: act as the principal liaison for IMG leadership keeping them informed of project progress, challenges and strategic implications. Build and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Consulting Team Leadership: provide vision, guidance and support to consulting teams and other project contributors. Set clear expectations, coach team members and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Risk Management: identify, assess and proactively manage project risks and issues. Develop mitigation strategies and ensure timely escalation of critical matters to IMG leadership.
- Resource Management: secure and manage necessary resources including personnel, budget and technology to deliver the project successfully. Monitor utilisation and address resource‑related challenges to maintain project momentum.
- Decision Escalation: exercise sound judgment in decision‑making, escalating high‑impact or complex issues to the appropriate authority within IMG when necessary.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting: establish project performance metrics and reporting mechanisms. Provide transparent, timely updates to stakeholders highlighting achievements, risks and corrective actions.
- Change Management: champion and facilitate change management activities ensuring adoption of new processes, systems or structures introduced by the project.
- Continuous Improvement: capture lessons learned and recommend process improvements for future initiatives within TMO and IMG at large.
Knowledge and Experience
- Management qualification at degree level and significant experience in organizational leadership within a complex global organization.
- Significant experience of end‑to‑end management of large‑scale organizational transformation and change projects in global matrix organizations.
- Demonstrated proficiency in project management methodologies.
- Demonstrated technical aptitude and familiarity with project management tools.
- Proven track record of strategically aligning financial resources with people resources, ICT and other assets to achieve desired strategic outcomes. Demonstrated experience in managing high risk and effective mitigation.
- Experience of delivering change management within the media broadcast or creative industries.
- Experience of translating strategy into delivery through plans, programme, people and culture.

Working Conditions
- This is a 3 year fixed‑term contract at IMG.
- This role will be based at Stockley Park London with travel to other IMG offices for regular meetings (Chiswick Park).
