Recruiting now for August 2025. Remit is partnered with WW Truck & Bus (Volvo) to deliver HGV Technician apprenticeships. Volvo has an established apprentice scheme with more than 300 young people going through the program each year, and a Volvo trained apprentice is viewed as a valuable asset to the business. Volvo launched the “Women in HGV” initiative to welcome more women into the automotive sector.

What you’ll be learning as a Heavy Vehicle Service Technician: inspect, maintain, and repair large vehicles weighing 3.5 tonnes and over, such as HGVs and buses.
