The Board of Trustees is the decision-making body and is accountable for all its academies equally. In accordance with the Trust's Scheme of Delegation, some responsibilities are delegated to committees, local governing boards or individuals, but the Board of Trustees remains accountable for all decisions made. It has four core functions:
You must be 18 or over to be a trustee and you do not need to be a parent. No specific experience in the education sector is required. We welcome trustees from diverse backgrounds with skills and professional knowledge in a variety of areas such as finance, HR, audit and risk, IT and estates management. Most importantly though, we want people with enthusiasm, commitment and to share our ambition to go from 'Good to Great'.
