A leading veterinary practice in Banbury seeks a confident Veterinary Surgeon. Responsibilities include managing routine health checks, performing surgeries, and working flexible hours. Our Banbury practice is equipped to a high standard with 3 consult rooms, an in-house laboratory, digital CR radiography, ultrasound, and a surgical theatre with diathermy, capnography, and multi-parameter monitoring. Piped anaesthetic gases are available throughout the surgery.
You will care for pets including dogs, cats, reptiles, and raptors, handling routine health checks, complex medical cases, and orthopaedic surgeries. Over 30% of our clients are insured, mostly on health plans.
You will be supported by an experienced Practice Manager, a dedicated nursing team, colleagues from Pets at Home, and the Vets4Pets support office.
We offer full or part-time roles, ideally a minimum of 25 hours per week, including 1 in 3 weekends. We welcome discussions about different working arrangements to find the best fit for you.
We seek a confident, experienced Veterinary Surgeon. Opportunities include training, CPD funding, and potential practice ownership through our Joint Venture Partnership model.
