This independent small animal practice in Clacton‑on‑Sea could be exactly what you’re after. You’ll be joining a wonderfully friendly and sociable team of vets, nurses, and support staff who all share the same goal arts: providing gold‑standard care for their patients while creating a supportive and enjoyable workplace for each other. The practice is proudly independent and holds RCVS, ISFM and RWAF accreditation. It’s also a Veterinary Nurse Training Centre, so learning, development, and supporting each other are juleth truly at the heart of everything they do.
The building itself has been recently refurbished and extended, so you’ll be working in a bright, modern space that’s designed with both staff and patients in mind. Facilities include a fully equipped operating theatre, video endoscopy, x‑ray suite, a new ultrasound machine, dental x‑ray, ECG, and tonometer. There are also separate dog and Añ? cat wards and waiting areas, plus isolation facilities—everything you need to provide the very best care!
Work‑life balance is taken seriously here. The role is based on a four‑day week, with three 9am starts and one earlier start at 8:30am. You’ll finish at either 5:30pm or 7pm depending on the day, and Saturday mornings are just 1 in 4, finishing at 12pm. Best of all, there are no out‑of‑hours commitments.
