Experienced Receptionist - Brand New Veterinary Practice (Opening March 2026)

Are you a dedicated Experienced Veterinary Receptionist looking for an exciting new challenge in a supportive and modern environment? Join us as we open the doors to our state-of-the-art practice in March 2026 and become part of our friendly, dynamic team from day one!

About us:

Our brand-new practice, based in Wren Nest Retail Park, has been designed with both clinical excellence and colleague wellbeing at its heart. You’ll be working in a bright, spacious, air‑conditioned environment with access to the latest technology and equipment.

Our Practice Owners bring a wealth of experience – Ibrahim, a Veterinary Surgeon who graduated in 2001, and Leanne, a Registered Veterinary Nurse with over 25 years’ experience. You’ll find us conveniently located next to Costa, Argos, PureGym, and Next, with free on‑site parking available.

What your typical day will look like:
  • Provide an exceptional service to clients and the best care possible to their pets – acting as a link between clients and the clinical team.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, their pets and the practice team.
  • Deliver great client service during visits, ensuring absolute satisfaction and encouraging repeat visits.
  • Greet each client, offer support, guidance, and expertise, and manage payments and future bookings confidently.
  • Coordinate the smooth running of day‑to‑day routines using our online booking system; computer literacy is a must.
This is a Part Time role working between 25 to 30 hours per week
The attributes required:
  • Experience in a receptionist environment or a similar role.
  • Friendly and welcoming face for clients and their pets.
  • Up‑to‑speed knowledge of practice and available services.
  • Calm, attentive, and client‑focused.
  • Enthusiastic, driven, and passionate about service and pets.
  • Ability to handle a range of emotional situations with professionalism.
  • Infectious personality that creates a welcoming atmosphere with colleagues.
