Overview

Registered Veterinary Nurse – Dorchester – Full or Part Time applicants considered

Join a friendly, experienced, multi-disciplinary practice with a recently refurbished facility. This is a nurse-led, RCVS-accredited training practice offering opportunities to develop across theatre, diagnostics, emergency care, and inpatient nursing. Work in a well-equipped practice featuring advanced facilities and a diverse caseload.

The nursing team is central to operations. As an RCVS-accredited training practice, the successful candidate will be able to use their full skillset and learn across theatre, diagnostics, emergency care, and inpatient nursing. The practice fosters a strong nurse-led culture that supports ownership of professional development and special interests.

This is a full-time role, ideally 40 hours per week, with rotating shifts (early and late) and weekend work on a rota basis. Part-time applicants may be considered, provided weekend availability remains fixed.

• CT scanner (internal and outpatient referrals)
• Digital x-ray and ultrasound
• Endoscopy
• Two sterile surgical suites
• Dedicated in-house laboratory
• Hydrotherapy unit (staffed two days per week)

• 24/7 care supported by ECC-certified night vet and nursing team
