Adkins & Cheurfi Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Venue Manager on behalf of a vibrant hospitality venue in Sunderland. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to oversee a unique multi-outlet venue and support a large team.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact for all operational matters on site, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and professionally.

Oversee staffing rotas across multiple bars, ensuring appropriate cover, compliance with working time regulations, and optimal service delivery.

Work closely with company Directors to support strategic objectives, operational planning, and continuous improvement across the venue.

Collaborate with the Events team to coordinate event set‑ups and breakdowns, ensuring smooth execution and exceptional guest experiences.

Take full responsibility for site compliance, including health & safety, licensing, and adherence to company policies and legal requirements.

Manage HR processes for new starters, including recruitment support, onboarding, inductions, and ongoing staff engagement.

Liaise with entertainment providers, suppliers, and production teams to coordinate event builds, technical requirements, and schedules.
