Job Summary

At Halfords, we’re looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our team. If you’re an experienced mechanic with a passion for delivering excellent customer experience and keeping vehicles safe on the road, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards.
• Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs and routine services on a wide range of vehicles.
• Ensure every job is completed to the highest standard within set timescales.
• Keep service records accurate and maintain quality control.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent qualification or experience).
• Valid MOT Testing Licence.
• Full driver’s licence with no more than 9 points.

Salary & Working Hours

£31,827 - £35,000 per annum, Average uncapped bonus of £5,800 per annum (potential to earn more).

5 days a week, 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday (Saturday on rota).
